Read Hebrews 8:26-27

Pray: Almighty God, ughhhhhhhh seriously just blehhhhh.

Harrumph.

Amen.

Hear:

Wednesdays, am I right? There are a lot of times in my life when I am struggling with the day-to-day to such an extent that putting the struggles into words is a struggle in and of itself.

A lot of struggle in that paragraph, right? Maybe you’ve got it together better than I do, but I am guessing that the struggle bus has stopped at your stop more than once since we last met. It is inevitable in our life that we will encounter deep and difficult times.

We do not serve a God who needs us to get our arms around “it,” for him to help. Instead we serve a God that gets it in a way that cannot be translated. Like a friend who can decipher through our sobs or can read our body language better than our words-we serve a God who just *gets us*.

Respond:

How will having a friend like this change your day today? What is a thing you can’t put into words?

Meditation:

Without a word, I am known.
